1.Introduction

Chemical Name 5-Chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-ketone(CMIT)and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-ketone (MIT)

This product is the hydrotropic solution of above mentioned mixture. It’s appearance is light amber and smell is normal. Its relative density is (20/4℃)1.19, viscosity is (23℃)5.0mPa·s, freezing point-18~21.5℃,pH3.5~5.0. It is easily dissolved in water. The best pH condition for the usage of low-carbon alcohol and ethanediol is 4~8. As pH>8, its stability goes down. It could be stored for a year under normal temperature. Under 50℃,activity goes down slightly as it is stored for 6 months. Activity may go down greatly under high temperature. It could be compatible with various ionic emulsifiers and protein.

3.Applicatiion

This product is mainly used in fixature, bath foam, surfactant and cosmetics as antiseptic. Can’t be used to the products which will touch mucous membrane directly.

Packed with plastic bottles or drums. 10kg/box (1kg×10bottles).

Export package is 25kg or 250kg/plastic drum.
