Bronopol has a strong biocidal activity that is widely used as a disinfectant, antibacterial, slime control and antiseptic ingredient for water treatment.

This product isformulated in a wide variety of applications, such  antibacterial and antialgae cooling water and water treatment system, slime control agents and general industrial uses such as antiseptics and fungicides, environmental sanitation, and disinfecting/sterilizing agents.
